Perfect for Us and Our Guests
We, as well as our visiting guests, enjoy the "Good Life". This includes our 70 degree, Blue Skies every day. Our website includes lots of our life and times. We've enjoyed lots of life's pleasures, especially all of the many God's Blessings bestowed upon us. I've tried to combine my love of family, friends, food, music and photography in the photo journal of our life and times. Our website shows it all (the site, as well as our online YouTube library includes a phenomenal amount of traffic). We get 100,000 unique visitors, as well as 2,000 views of our shows per month. Basically, our visitors seem to enjoy seeing it all.
Guests enjoy our home, it's a bed and breakfast. Besides all of our amenities at home, most enjoy hiking our community. Beautiful, peaceful and serene. Even our nights are relaxing.
The only advice is to think about what you want to see and do, then plan around it.
Plan on getting to Tucson late afternoon .. especially with the time difference for those coming from out of town. A typical adventure begins with stopping at North for some food, then a tour of our home and grounds. That's enough for Day 1, believe me. After some brief chatting and a glass of wine or 2, it's off to our Guest House. A typical stay includes planning around your sightseeing goals. For example, those wishing to see the U of A, our real estate and investments and have experience some great, authentic Mexican Cuisine/Seafood will end at Marisco's Chihuahua and an evening at our home and pool.
Lots and lots of tourist attractions, ... San Xavier (AZ 2nd biggest attraction), Biosphere 2, The Desert Museum, Sabino Canyon, Wild West Towns, Old Tucson Studios, the University of AZ, Lake Patagonia, and of course there's always the Great Outdoors .. checkout more of life from the menu above.

We stock the Guest House for our guests, which let's them decide on some fast food snakes or meals, or let them choose from our extensive meals to enjoy some of our home cooking while visiting. Paulina and I have been cooking for many years and have hosted lot of our family times since becoming soul mates in '82. Check out "Home Cooking" menu to plan of some happy meals. I included some of my "Italian" dishes, but we do it all. Since we enjoy it all anyway, it's no trouble to make something you enjoy. Use the search box to find 'em.

Viewers can easily see what it's like in Tucson. See some of the shows listed here or check out our online shows. I suggest you see it in person and use Tucson as a base for your comparison purposes. We did back when, and we enjoy living here, and our get aways to see some variety.

We enjoy getting away very often at our favorite club, that is Ventana Canyon Resort .. fun, food and tennis too.

We enjoy life at home, but it really is nice to get out and enjoy life in Tucson. Our club is perfect for our daily adventures, especially including tennis and all of the amenities the club has to offer.
I've included a holiday celebration show that highlights their celebrated "Sunday Brunch" BTW, our favorite brunch spot is at Hacienda Del Sol. Check it out.

Choices ... Italian, Indian, Spanish, French, Greek, Russian, Peruvian, Japanese, steak and BBQ ... and of course the Mexican and Southwestern cuisine all over AZ.
Fine dining, and fast food ... eating 3 times a day! Mexico is even only about 60 miles south of Tucson (lol). |
Our favorite, Besides All of the Above?
Italian, Indian, Mexican and Fine Dining, of course. Dress is always "county casual" it's a resort town! Paulina and I recently enjoyed celebrating our 33rd anniversary at Vivace's.

Getting Out of Town Too ... Scottsdale
It's nice to get away, and Scottsdale is only about 100 miles north of Tucson. We've done lots of vacation, but our timeshare in Tucson is simply the best ... beautiful, setup for home cooking and so close to all the fun spots too. Believe it or not, it's actually called the "Desert Oasis"? How appropriate!

For example Wild Flower, Kingfisher and some of the others are NOT better than quite a few others .. but, to each his own. Bluefin Seafood Bistro, which is owned by the same people as Kingfisher, is decidedly better, especially the location and ambiance. McMahon's is also my top choice and not just for food, it's got ambiance, amenities, service as well as better sauces and side dishes than any of the others. Paulina Cortes-De Lorenzo, I and many of our guests also love the Bistro out back and Friday night dancing.
My story could go on, but I have to say there's not a bad choice among them all.
Odd, 1 of my top favorites ... Five Palms Steak and Seafood is the best "fine dining in Tucson" and didn't even get a mention? Flying V and McMahon's
