Times Gone By

Some family history, cousin Jane and her husband Burt Boyer wrote "Yes I Can" for Sammy Davis Jr. .. My mom (grandmother who raised me) had a sister Catherine (her 2 children daughter Jane and son Ashley). Jane passed in '97 and Ashley still lives in Manhattan. Ashley worked with renowned Marketeer "Faith Popcorn". Haven't heard or soon him since we moved to Tucson in '99. Great family parties at their family estate in Lawrence, LI with lots of celebs, Woodie Allen et al

Lots and lots of great family stories, mostly of my mom and her family.  We enjoyed lots of family time at her sister's home in Lawrence, LI, NY .. with celebs and parties at the Feinstein Estate.

My Mom was the Matriarch of our clan, and she was the focal point of all our family times. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos from these days.  But, my memories of all these times will live forever.

It's only natural to have lots and lots of family and friends through the years, but only a few will always be there for you though the good and bad times.  Most have there own lives to deal with.  However, looking back, you'll only see a loyal few that have always been there, and that you can count on to always be there for the future.

Nori Passed on New Year's Eve ... RIP

We lost my beloved brother-in-law, condolences to Eve and Kim ... Nori will be missed.  So many memories over the past years.  Lots of family times in NYC, Tucson and Las Vegas with Eve, Nori and Kim ...

Some of our best family times, above and below .. great memories.  We shared our NYC days, beginning with our year's visit to the Philippines and showing our family times in the big apple.  Our time in Las Vegas includes our last hurrah with Eve and Nori during our stay.  We will always treasure these times!

Tucson Times

Eve and Nori had visited with us when we first moved to Tucson ... some fond memories.  Then, they moved to Tucson, and later to Las Vegas (before returning to the East).  We enjoyed some wonderful memories of their time with us in Tucson.

We had invited Rock, Dards and Bernard to visit with us.  We bivouacked the boys at Westward Look, the same place Dad used to stay while he visited.  Lots of fun memories.

We've been blessed with lots of fun family times, especially for the holidays ... thanks for being there for us.  Some great memories of Paulina's family visiting with us ... Lola, Elaine, Juniora, and Eileen helped us to celebrate our new home.

Memories of our Childhood Friends, After All These Years

Both Paulina and I have had the good fortune to still have some good, old friends still in our lives .. very special times to treasure.  Eden and Eddie visit with us for some down home fun.  Rowena, another friend from the Philippines also visited recently.  Check out some of their adventures.  Tina, also a childhood friend has visited several times, we love having her.

My best friend, Jack and his wife Lorraine, also visited with us ... we too go back to our childhood.  We've shared lots of fun over the recent past both in Tucson and Denver.  This was a very special time us, as well as our family and friends.

We all go back to our childhood in the early 60's.  We had lots of fun meeting and chatting over the years, but it was especially fun to see and reminisce with the whole bunch about our music, lives and fun.  Jack, John and I even got the chance to do some jamming. It gives new meaning to the expression "The Swinging 70's"
