Our temps range 30 degrees, everyday. So, even in the heat of our 100 degree summer months ... the mornings are only about 70 degrees. And, yes our temps drop to about 30 in our winter months, but our daytime highs are usually up around 7o degrees. Also, we are a desert town, which means very little rain .. most days are filled with blue skies and wonderful sunsets. I enjoy hiking, tennis, pool/spa and bbq's in our lovely setting.
Mornings are our coolest part of the day, with afternoons and evenings being the warmer time. Anyone that enjoys being outside can find the time to enjoy the great outdoors.
So, we enjoy near perfect weather and lots of fun in the sun, all year long.
1st week of January, and you can smell the fresh cut grass at our home in the mountains.

How do we rank, check it out ... Tucson's Tops Great place to visit and live. Great cost of living, great amenities and great weather. We moved when we were in our mid 50's and son John was 15. College (The University of Arizona) was a top interest for us at that point. Later, after living in Tucson, we saw the benefit of it all.
One bedroom apartments are only about $500/month and two bedrooms are only about $650. Many people come for the short term rentals especially during the winter time. Those looking for a home can expect to pay about $150-$200 per square foot. If you have an interest, check out homes for sale. And, you might want to compare our Cost of Living!
After originally considering many places to live, we chose Tucson for a variety of reasons. It was the smallest of the big cities, and offered a layback lifestyle. We had also considered Phoenix and Scottsdale, AZ (one of the top big cities). However, it was just too busy, congested, and hot for us. While our summer temps reach about 100, heading 100 miles north to Phoenix the temps are simply too hot!
Lots of close places to visit, California, Las Vegas and Mexico. Mexico is only about 60 miles south of Tucson. It's been a real adventure living in Tucson.
Since most Tucsonans have relocated from all parts, we have a wide mix of backgrounds and interests. Check out our demographics. Like us, most people that have come to Tucson have mostly good things to say about it all.
People visit Tucson for different reasons, cost of living, education and vacation. However, everyone see's the weather and cleanest air in the USA as a common benefit. Unlike most places, we have very little humidity and mostly blue skies all year long.
Even today, Tucson is a real destination spot for Snowbirds, looking for shelter from the winter. Like us, many check out Tucson and decide it would be a wonderful place to live.
Ever Think About It?
Time for a change!
We had gotten sick and tired of living life for the few good months when the weather allowed for fun in the sun. So, we shopped for a new home and decided upon Tucson. While there were many other good reasons, weather was a serious consideration. Now, we've been enjoying the good life since October 1999.

The Good Life
3 Season Living
Spring, summer and fall. The coldest time of year for us is around the Christmas holidays, which is nice. The temps may hit a low of 55 in the daytime, but most of the time it's about 70! So, outdoor living is one of everyone's routine.
The temps rise and fall about 30 degrees everyday. so if you prefer 70 head out in the morning during the summer heat and afternoon in the winter time. Night's remain warm before the temps begin to drop. This allows us many evenings outdoors. It's delightful.
Lots of outdoor activities, with access to Mt Lemmon for skiing, and many lakes for boating and camping. Hard to believe, but AZ is one of the top places for lakes and water sports. Son John is an avid outdoorsman.
Snow is rare, but it does occur and we all enjoy it. See our show for some pretty sights.
Prefer Winter or 4 Season Living
We've got both, still in Tucson. Our Mt Lemmon offers all the snow and fun of other places and it's only a 45 minute drive from our home. One of our associates lives in Mt Lemmon and drives to Tucson for work every day. Cooler temps, and real winter with still the cleanest air and great cost of living.
