We sold our home at the end of 2021, and moved to Atria Senior Living for 6 weeks before buying and moving to our current home in Houghton.  After many years of hosting guests and then COVID, we are now living a simple life and enjoying our time with family!

We've still been doing lots of dining out and enjoying our beautiful setting in Tucson.  Coming up we're returning to Wild Garlic for Mother's Day, and Casino Del Sol for another Staycation weekend for Father's Day.

This year, we're continuing our 4th of July with Family and Friends .. bigger than ever!  In August, we'll be celebrating son John's birthday at Casino Del Sol .. and then, we return to our usual holiday season .. with 2 weeks at our Timeshare in Scottsdale!

As has been in the past, so it goes again .. It's time to move on.  Last month, I began telling my side of the story and shared a bit of my history along life's journey.

Born in Ridgewood, NY, I moved to Forest Hills Gardens when I was 13.

I would remain in Forest Hills until I got married for the 1st time in July 1967 .. thru high school and college.  Lots of fond memories of my early days.  Click on the link for lots more photos and memories.

​Paulina and I would meet in March 1982, and begin our life together.

I was to meet my BFF, Jack Carlson in high school.  Jack was a mentor and a long time friend.  Although life had passed by and we lost track of each other, we caught up again in 2010 .. sharing lots of "happy days" and memories in Tucson and Denver until his death in 2015.

We downsized from our 10,000 square foot mansion, to a 1,000+ square foot apartment.  With all the amenities of a hotel style resort .. no cooking, cleaning or chores!

​It's time for us to relax and enjoy our life and times. Watch for lots of updates.

We had searched for a new home when we listed our home, but didn't find it .. until now.  And so, we move again on April 3rd!

Today begins a new direction and my autobiography “My Side of the Story” And, it begins with “Ever Met a Man Who Had a Fist Fight with Donald J. Trump (President of the United States) ? Well, now you have!

It begins at the beginning, a very nice place to start. Each month I will add a new chapter, as well as edits and updates to prior chapters

To begin with I always thought I was poor, contrary to appearances? Boy, was I wrong!
I will expose all, accomplishments and failures .. personal and business .

A key principle in life is about truth . Like President Bill Clinton, I’ve had my moments But, unlike him I’ve always told the truth . My view is whether it’s good or bad .. the truth always comes out! My dad had believed I should run for the Presidency but I told him that I had lots of skeletons in the closet .. and I was proud of every skeleton

Simply put, I am a 100 % hedonist . If you can’t eat it, drink it, or spend it .. what good is it?

Despite it all life that has taught and given me, it’s not about wealth , but rather life’s about the journey, people and memories

Clearing my thoughts and thinking about where and how to begin.  

It really begins with my birth to Pauline Merkel and Joseph De Lorenzo.  My dad was born in NY descendants of Italian Immigrants. And my mother was born in NY descendants of a Russian General who fled at the time of the Russian Revolution in 1917 and arriving about 1922.

​My early childhood years went from Rug Rat to Blackboard Jungle, tough times (lol).  Then we moved to Forest Hills Gardens, and I was a hot and horny Doo Wop singer and simply "A Teenager in Love"

We're looking back at on our saga, remembering all the blessings we've enjoyed.  Now, we focus on the last 10 years and the wonderful memories we've had since moving to our beloved home in Skyline Country Club Estates.

We bought our home in February '11, closed in July '11, completed restoraration and our move in November '11. N0w in our 10th year and doing a retrospective look at our past 10 years. Our flic "Home for the Holidays" includes the first of our home and family celebrations.  Fond Memories.

Paulina, Mr Lucky and I continue to enjoy our life and times.  And, we're hoping for lots more in the coming New Year. I'll be updating my January, A New Beginning photo album throughout the month.
