2019 was a year of doing things better! Now, with the New Year fast approaching and Paulina and I hitting 75, we're spending more time looking at life on an introspective basis.

While we continue our love of life, family, nature and photography, we're beginning to spend more time thinking about the past and realizing that we now see life from a different viewpoint.  

Youth was all about building a life for us and our family (education and friends). Then, adulthood  was all about building a career and family. Now, in our Golden Years, we're spending most of our time enjoying the fruit of our labor.

Over the past 10 years, we were focused on our homes in Tucson and the Adirondacks.  Now, we and our companion Mr Lucky are simply into maintaining our lifestyle and enjoying it while we can.

We've simplified our daily routine, spending lots more time outdoors and enjoying simple meals, our grounds, pool/spa and TV.

I've taken over the landscaping maintenance to reduce our expenses and get some exercise. Now, it's back to maintaining the lawn and gardens, watering, blowing leaves and time at the pool.  We're also going "dark", that is we eliminated our landscape lighting.  We'll only be lighting our grounds for holidays, visitors and special events.

​We also eliminated our Irrigation System, which was fraught with repairing ongoing leaks for our 30+ year old system.

Meanwhile, love is in the air!  Son John and Sunnie are getting serious and seeing the world. They're off seeing Sunnie's family and then off to our place in the Adirondacks.  We miss 'em so!
